A course called “Polymer characterization by scattering and rheology methods” will be organized right after NPD 2010 May 27-29. It will be lectured by Bo Nyström and Søren Hvidt, and the course is free of charge for the participants of NPD 2010. More information: heikki.tenhu@helsinki.fi

For that we extend our most sincere and warm welcome to you.  The annual NPD has become a mature and natural part of our professional and social life and the fact it has survived more than 45 years needs no further comment.  Many warm, long lasting friendships and valuable as well as productive collaborations have been initiated or refreshed at previous events.  We especially acknowledge the importance for young researchers to face the established polymer community and industry.  Therefore we like to continue this valuable tradition and open up for many presentations given by junior researchers.
